Retired from a career in broadcast journalism, I have spent much of my leisure time behind the viewfinder of a camera. The results have sporadically been posted here and there, but now it's time to find a central home for the images.

I'm so lucky to have found Diana to share my life. And through her artistic talent, I've developed a yearning to engage in artistry of my own.

And so the two of us, the Artful Codgers, live and love together in a tiny village in rural Southeast Saskatchewan. When we can, we try to also get together with Diana's three children and my two sons, who among them have generated 10 grandchildren, ranging in age in the year 2022 from early 20's to pre-teen.

Diana is a painter, printmaker, sculptor, doodler, experimenter... oh you get it, Diana is an artist, living and creating in beautiful rural Creelman, SK. Pop. 100

Diana is married to the love of her life, Pat. She raised and was raised by 3 amazing children. She has 2 bonus sons, and 10 incredible grandchildren.

She is on a never-ending journey to find new ways to innovate and add extra depth to her work, and like many artists, she often works in one type of media for awhile, then abruptly switches to another. As of this writing her focus is whimsically serious, or seriously whimsical watercolour painting. Last year it was sculptural work made with a fabric harder called Paverpol.

Join the quest.
